Internship Posting – Research Analyst, Stormwater and Resiliency
We are seeking a full-time (37.5 hours weekly) summer intern for a 12± week internship as a Research Analyst. The focus of this internship is to assist the Business Development team on the Municipal Resilience Program and advance the program’s project pipeline reporting on key performance indicators. Secondarily, candidates will work with the entire Business Development team on project origination for the Infrastructure Bank’s stormwater and resiliency programs. Candidates will be encouraged to take on responsibilities that align with both their own personal interests and the pursuits of the organization.
An internship with the Infrastructure Bank is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience at the frontier of the emerging field of green banking in an innovative and supportive work environment. We are seeking candidates with a strong interest and expertise in project management, climate finance, stakeholder engagement, and green stormwater infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
The candidate will be expected to:
- Be currently matriculated in a Master’s or Doctoral postgraduate degree program relevant to climate finance, environmental economics, finance, public policy, business management, design, environmental science, or other
- Possess demonstrated interest in infrastructure, climate policy and financethrough their coursework, work experience and/or extracurricular activities
- Possess a strong track record of project management experience
- Exhibit strong analytical thinking and communication skills (verbal and graphic)
- Work out of the Infrastructure Bank’s office in Providence, RI (pending public health guidelines to safely return to the office)
- Adhere to all rules and regulations required of Bank staff
- Maintain a level of professionalism and integrity appropriate of a contributing member of the team and organization
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in research and data analytics a plus
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite software
- Mastery in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook
Compensation, Location, and Term
We are offering paid (and credit upon evaluation) internships for the summer of 2022. The internship will be located at the Bank’s office in Providence, RI. Candidates must possess the means to commute to our office. This internship will commence in late-May and last through mid-August (dates negotiable).
